Hmmm.... I had an 87 325 and it had the service indicator lights. Pretty

sure they all do since at least back then, certainly on a 2002.

These cars don`t have green/yellow/red bars!



Read the manual? I was told by BMW in the UK that "there is a 250

mile window" around the mileage countdown. Trouble is mine said 750

miles to go but in only 100 it`s already -150. Apparently the mileage

will start flashing if the service is way overdue. Also the manual

says to change the oil annually if you do less than about 6000 miles a

year.
